The road to the 2026 IHRA Team Finals starts NOW!
Mark your calendars for September 24-26 as Gulfport Dragway heads to Montgomery International Dragway in Montgomery, Alabama, to compete against other IHRA tracks in the IHRA Team Finals. It’s time to represent Gulfport Dragway on a big stage of the season!
Team Finals Information
* Team rosters will consist of 40 racers.
* Gulfport Dragway is eligible to field TWO teams.
The following racers in the Final 2026 Gulfport Dragway Track Championship Points will have the first opportunity to secure a position on Gulfport Dragway Team 1:
Electronics – Top 15 DHR Carbs No Box – Top 15 Jr. Dragster – Top 4 Sportsman – Top 3 Motorcycles – Top 3
Gulfport Dragway will Pay the Main Event Entry Fees for all of its racers. 
These qualified racers will have two weeks after the final 2026 points standings are posted to officially lock in their Team 1 roster spot.
Once the two-week priority period expires, any remaining Team 1 openings will be filled on a first-come, first-served basis.
All other racers who wish to compete will be placed on Gulfport Dragway Team 2, giving more Gulfport racers the opportunity to compete at the IHRA Team Finals.
This is your chance to wear the Gulfport Dragway colors, compete with your teammates, and battle for an IHRA Team Finals Championship .
