37th Annual Ford vs. Chevy Drags Postponed; Rescheduled for April 16–18, 2027.

Gulfport Dragway and the Ford Performance Association announce that the 37th Annual Ford vs. Chevy Drags has been postponed due to the high probability of rain in forecast for Friday, October 2, through Sunday, October 4.

The event has been rescheduled for April 16–18, 2027, at Gulfport Dragway and will return to its traditional three-day format, bringing racers and fans a full weekend of competition and entertainment.

The rescheduled weekend will feature:

Friday, April 16: Test-n-Tune

Saturday, April 17: Time Runs, Gamblers Race, Small Tire Shootout, and Jet Car

Sunday, April 18: Main Event Eliminations and Jet Car

All previously registered racers will have their entries honored for the rescheduled event.

While we share the disappointment of racers and fans who were looking forward to this weekend, making this decision in advance allows participants to adjust their travel plans and prepare for the new dates.
